Match Reports
In a nervous first forty five minutes at Prestatyn's superbly upgraded Bastion Gardens ground Gap Queens Park cane closest to scoring when Ashley Wilson hit the post with a cross shot. Bala took the lead on the stroke of half time when the ever dependable Gethin Lloyd fired home. Gap started the brighter in the second hal but were denied an equaliser by man of the match Paul Evans in the Bal goal who pulled off four superb saves. He was finally beaten with five minutes to go as Gap skipper Mark Hobson rifled home a header. With both sides looking jaded in extra time Ricky Evans almost gave Gap the advantage with a free kick from the edge of the box that went narrowly wide. With the game looking like being decided on penalties substitute Marc Griffiths scored after a goalmouth scramble to give Bala the league cup. In the league Denbigh beat Penrhyncoch with a goal in each half from Ian and Kevin Evans and Llanfair PG and Mynydd Isa shared four goals with Anthony Williams netting a late penalty for Isa
