Leaders P restatyn Town failed to created a chance until the forty third minute in their home game with basement side Lex X1 but two goals in two minutes from Steve Bowes and Jon Fisher Cooke gave them a two nil lead at the break. Second half goals from Bowes, player manager Neil Gibson and substitute Gareth Davies saw them increase their lead at the top as Llandudno fought out a goalless home draw with Ruthin Town. Holyhead Hotspur were two up at the interval courtesy of a Marc Evans doable at home to Guilsfield, Evans went on to complete his hat trick with Tom Nathan Edwards adding two more for Hotspur. Impressive Flint Town United sank Denbigh Town at Central Park , with Sean Beck opening the scoring on 45 minutes. Kenny Burgess hit the post from a spot kick and Andy Hughes turned a Lucas Brookes header onto the bar as the hosts staged a second half fight back , but Steve Thomas ensured that Flint came away with the points when firing home on 90 minutes. Gap Queens Park made it eleven goals from two games as they sank visitors Llanfair PG by six goals to nil. Colin Quirk adding four to the two he scored in midweek and Lee Phelan bagging a double. Ian Burgess netted a late consolation for PG. In the relegation battle Buckley Town had to thank Penrhyncoch's Kerion Davies who scored an own goal to give Town the three points and Gresford Athletic had to come from behind to salvage a home point against Llandyrnog United who had taken an eighth minute lead through Mark Roberts, Richard Carr scoring the Athletic equaliser. Mynydd Isa had two clear chances to take a first half lead in their home game with Glantraeth but missed both. Glantraeth settled the game with a Gareth Wyn Roberts header three minutes from time |
