BBC WALES
BBC WALES TV has sadly decided to end Wales on Saturday after 20 years of providing a service to the public. This will mean that the Cymru Alliance league (second tier in Wales) and the other North Wales leagues results will not be seen or heard on a Saturday evening. I know that many people in Wales will miss the results coverage when next season begins - I can only hope that clubs and supporters will make their feelings known.
Should any club or individual want to complain, all they have to do is to write in to BBC Wales, Broadcasting House, Llandaff, Cardiff CF5 2YQ.

www.welsh-premier.com has organised on online petition urging the BBC to reconsider the decision and you can give your support by going to the following link http://www.gopetition.co.uk/online/27577.html

COMMENTS RECEIVED BY THE LEAGUE
This is disgusting. There should be an on-line petition and letters going from each League to
ALL MPs and Assembly members

The Cymru Alliance league is very disappointed with BBC Wales decision not to broadcast the league's results on a Saturday. We feel like Welsh football is treated like second class citizens throughout Great Britain.
Teletext - Sky - ITV - Sentanta to name but a few all show results from leagues that are well below tier two in English and Ireland pyramid football. Welsh football at tier two has no publicity worth mentioning. The league now has a reduced cover in the Daily Post, the Non League reports are copied from the leagues website. The local press only cover the teams in their areas and not all the leagues sides.
The league would encouraged clubs and supporters to write to the BBC to show their disappointment.
