BUCKLEY TOWN VANDAL DAMAGE
The following has been received from Buckley Town Football Club " Do not know if you are aware but we have suffered a lot of damage to the facilities at the ground this week with vandals using the ground as their drinking den and then smashing the place up in  two separate incidents this week. With Colwyn Bay having suffered similar damage as the kids go off on study leave from school it would be nice if you would both publicise the damage caused and the effect that it has on small clubs. Obviously we now have to repair, which means money earmarked for the playing budget for next year just goes up in smoke. Whilst the club is gutted and we have involved the Police, who came down and removed beer cans for finger printing and DNA testing, we will carry on with our plans for ground improvements this summer". |
