Bala Town need two late goals from Gary Penlington and Wes Bretton to seal three points at Guilsfield. Guilsfield putting up a spirited display against the leaders who are now six points clear. Llandudno found themselves a goal down after eight minutes at home to Glantraeth, Kevin Roberts on target. Jason Sadler leveled before the interval and Gareth  Evans netted a second half winner to move Dudno up to fifth place. Mynydd Isa (left) made it four games played four games won at home to Llandyrnog. Anthony Williams fired them ahead on thirty minutes with a good shot from the edge of the penalty area. Dan Farrell doubled their advantage before Tom Sharples netted for Dyrnog five minutes from time. Llandyrnog's Anthony Marshall failed from the penalty spot to add to their misery. Llanfair PG (right) took a thirty eighth minute lead at  Mold Alex in a first half that should have seen them add to Dave Jones goal. Mold were a different side in the second half with Stuart Hayes equalising and Ben Heald in the PG goal making a brilliant save to deny Alex the three points.
In the Welsh cup Lex X1 are the toast of the Alliance league knocking out welsh Premier Porthmadog with second half goals from Paul Griffiths and Aaron Edwards. Holyhead Hotspur are also through to the next round, two Marc Evans goals seeing off Pentwyn Dynamos. Gresford Athletic twice came from behind to force extra time against Prestatyn Town, Town scoring an extra time winner with a last minute goal from Dave Parker. Llangefni Town, Denbigh Town, Buckley Town, Flint Town United and Penrhyncoch all failed to make the next round. |
