Bala Town made it six points and eight goals from their first two games as they defeated Penrhyncoch three nil. Penthyn had keeper Richard Morgan sent off after conceding an Lec Stacey penalty ten minutes before the break. A Gary Lewis own goal and ione from Gethin Lloyd sealing the points for  Bala. Ruthin Town were one down after three minutes at Guilsfield but bounced back to lead four one at the break, Llya Haycock neeting a double. Both sides had a player sent off and Kevin Breeze missed a penalty for Ruthin in the second half. Buckley Town also made it two wins from two games as they saw off a stubborn Denbigh Town side with an early Mark Roberts strike. Denbigh will count themselves unlucky not to have taken a share of the points, they also had a player dismissed late in the game. Llanfair PG stromed back in the second half at home to Glantraeth after Glan had talen a two nil interval lead. Dave L Jones netting a late equaliser for PG. Holyhead Hotspur won the derby at Llangefni Town with a goal in each half from Kenleigh Owen and Marck Jones. Llandudno and Flint Town United shared the goals and points as did Lex X1 and Mold Alex. Mynydd Isa (photo)had their keeper Ben Jones dismissed just before the break in the home game with Gresford Athletic but still managed to take the points with a two one success. |
