REPORTS
On Tuesday night Lex X1 extended their winning start to the season with a three one win at Gresford Athletic. Athletic took a fifth minute lead when a Danny Hughes cross was deflected into his own net by a Lex X1 defender. Rene Pinard equalised for Lex and the league leading scorer Kerion Jones put Lex ahead from a controversial penalty. Arron Edwards powered home a header on the stroke of half time to seal the points for Lex X1. On Wednesday a Gary Penlington double half way through the first half gave Bala Town the points at previously unbeaten Ruthin Town to see Bala go top of the table. A goal in each half from Danny Glyn Roberts and Kevin Lloyd gave Llangefni Town the points at Glantraeth and in the other Island derby three second half goals including a penalty from Marc Evans saw Holyhead Hotspur at home against Llanfair PG. Buckley Town led one nil at Mynydd Isa before Jamie Rogers was red carded and Isa scored three to give them the points. Denbigh Town had their first win of the season at home to Llandyrnog United, Kevin Leech on target twice. Mold Alex lead through a Darren Pritchard goal only for Llandudno to level just before the break through Craig Hogg, two second half own goals saw Dudno win by the odd goal in five. Penrhyncoch were the nights highest scorers, netting six against Guilsfield with Sion Meredith netting a hat-trick
