FAW REGISTRATION

The FAW Domestic Committee confirmed at their last meeting that the next Registration Period for players within Wales will open on July 4th. 2008.

• New Non-Contract Registration Forms will be provided to all Cymru Alliance Clubs during early June 2008. Therefore, the FAW/Cymru Alliance League will not accept players registered on existing Registration Forms.

• The FAW/Cymru Alliance League must receive the Registration Form within five (5) working days from the date stated on the Registration Form when the Player and Club Secretary signed the Registration Form. Therefore, the earliest a player and club can sign and date a Registration Form
is June 30, 2008.

• The FAW/Cymru Alliance league will not accept new Registration Forms received prior to July 4, 2008.

• The FAW will accept contract forms prior to July 4, 2008 for players who are currently registered for a club and wish to either extend their contract or change their status (from non-contract to contract) whilst remaining with the same club.

• A notice of approach is required to clubs for players throughout the season. (i.e. seven (7) days notice of approach). During the 'close season' (from 1st June - 30th June each year) a notice of approach is not required. However, please be advised of the earlier point regarding when a player can sign and date a new Registration Form.
