RESTUCTURE – WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN
Welsh Premier League
The league will be reduced to twelve clubs for season 2010/11
The reason for the increase from the original planned ten teams is to allow the two feeder leagues to promote a club if applicable.
If the feeder league do supply two clubs for promotion then eight clubs will be relegated, if only one club qualifies for promotion then seven clubs will be relegated.
From season 2011/12 the league will be reduced to eleven clubs and from 2012/13 to ten clubs
Cymru Alliance League
From season 2010/11 the league will be reduced to sixteen clubs
Worst scenario for member clubs
No team promoted from CAL to WPL
Six clubs relegated from the WPL to the CAL
Three clubs promoted from the feeder leagues
Eleven teams would be relegated from the CAL
