Gap Connahs Quay Nomads are preparing to welcome the BBC Sport Wales cameras to the Deeside Stadium for the friendly clash with Blue Square Bet Premier giants Wrexham

Tonights  (8th. Aug) pre-season game with the Wrexham, who face a 17.00 deadline to convince the Football Conference they can complete their fixtures this season, the scheduled final pre-season friendly for both sides - two hours later - has become the subject of enormous media interest.

A reporter and cameras from BBC Wales' Friday night magazine show, Sport Wales, are expected to be in attendance and a large crowd is anticipated as Nomads' player-boss Mark McGregor prepares for a reunion with the club for whom he made almost 250 Football League appearances.

There is also a scheduled presentation to honour Nomads' former Club Secretary/General Manager, Ally Bennett, who has been appointed into a Vice President position at the club.

Kick off at the Deeside Stadium is 7pm but supporters are advised to arrive as early as possible in order to avoid congestion at the turnstyles.
