Swarbrick treble keeps Cefn top


Andrew Swarbrick fired a hatrick as Cefn Druids kept top spot

Cefn Duids remain top after beating Ruthin Town 4-1 with Andrew Swarbrick scoring three and Warren Duckett the other with Asa Hamilton netting a late consolation for Ruthin

After a goaless first half at Rhos Aelwyd Gary O'Toole gave Gap Connahs Quay the lead four minutes into the second half. Aelwyd equalised with an Arron Edwards penalty four minutes later only for a Iwan Williams goal to give the champions the points with eleven minutes remaining.

On Friday in front of a good crowd at Llandudno Rhyl lost their winning start to the season, a Dan Seager goal three minutes before the break giving Dudno their first win of the season

Flint Town United climbed into third spot atfer winning at Penycae. Penycae lead at the inrerval thorugh a Ben Jones early strike. Stuart Carrol netted a penalty to equalise for Flint and Phil Lloyd then put them ahead. Penycae under new manager Simon Sedgewick fought back to equalise through Mark Gunther but two goaks from Jordon Brierley anf Jamie Hayes in the last ten minutes sealed the points for Flint

Caersws netted five without replay at home to out of sorts Guilsfield, Mark Griffiths asnd Rob Evans both scoring twice. The Guils also had Rob Cookson dismissed for two Yellow cards

After a goaless first half at Conwy second hald stikes from Criag Roberts and Mark Evans earned Porthmadog the points

It only took Tim Brigland four minutes to net his first goal for Buckley as they ran out four nil winners at Llangefni Town. Wes Breretton (pen) and a Mike Burke double including a penalty gave Buckley a comfortable away win.

In the mid Wales derby Llanrhaeadr and Penrhyncoch shared two goals and a point each. Mark Gornall opened the scoring for Penrhyn only for Ben White to equalise six minutes later
