
New Manager announced
Ruthin Town have acted quickly following Adie Jones’ resignation as first team manager on Saturday.
Adie told the players that the League Cup tie away to Penrhyncoch last Sarurday was his last game.
Chairman Brian Griffiths said
” I would like to thank Adie for all his efforts over the past few years maintaining our position in tier two of Welsh Football during a period of significant change,
We have appointed Steve Crompton as his successor. Steve started his career at Ruthin playing for the first team at the age of 16 before moving to play professionally at Wolverhampton, Hereford, Worcester, Runcorn and Bangor before returning to Ruthin"
Brian added "Steve knows the club well and was a Youth Team coach for 5 years before joining Bala as Assistant Manager seven years ago where he has developed his coaching skills with a "B" licence"
