Huws Gray Clubs looking to progress
Five Huws Gray Alliance club will be looking to progress to the next round of the welsh cup this Saturday (28th. Jan) But none of them have what could be discribed as a should win tie
BUCKLEY TOWN v BALA TOWN
Buckley Town take on former Huws Gray Alliance champions Bala Town at Globe way. Buckley are in good formand currently lyiing second in the league and with Mike Burke knocking goals in for fun will fancy their chances of progressing, Buckley will be without Dave McIntyre who is cup tie.
FLINT TOWN UNITED v NEATH
With Shaun Beck and Stuart Carroll back in action after injury Flint will be at full strength for the visit of Lee Trundle's Neath who can expect a warm welcome at Cae Y Castell. Fint manager Paul Davies has been given the run down on Neath by Bangor City manager New Powell who knocked Flint out of the competition last season
RHYL v LLANELLI
Rhyl take on holders Llanelli in the live SC4 game and will be looking to bounce back from last weeks home defeat by Llandudno. Rhyl manager Greg Strong believes the Rhyl supporers can help them through to the next round He said "Our fans have many times become the twelfth man for us in big games, I ask they do this again on Saturday and help push the lads on to victory"
ABERYSTWYTH v LLANDUDNO
A close game is predicted here with Dudno well capable of being in the next round. They won at Rhyl in their last league match which will go to Aber full of confidence. Llandudno should have a full strength squad available for the game
PRESTATYN TOWN v CEFN DRUIDS
Cefn Druids travel to another former Huws Gray Alliance Champions, Cefn are on a good run unbeaten in their last six games and will go to Prestatyn full of confidence. Cefn will be without Andrew Swarbrick.
The Huws Gray Alliance wish all five teams the best of luck and hope to them in the draw for the next round
In the League leaders Gap Connahs Quay could increase their lead with a win at Llanrhaeadr to seven points with nine games left to play and with Gary O'Toole knocking goals in for fun few would bet against them
Porthmadog are at home to Guilsfieldand wil be hoping for a change of luck having lost a few players recently to injury. Guilsfield will be looking to add to last weeks win against Caersws
Penycae host Caersws whose poor run of results continued last week at Guilsfield. Penycae have been busy receuiting players as they look for must needed points.
Ruthin Town seemed to have "turned the corner" under new manager Steve Crompton and are on a decent run of results, they are at home to Rhos Aelwyd with points vital to both teams.
