Caersws

Welsh Football magazine issue 155 was published on 25th January and is available to purchase.
In this issue we have two club features: a look at the fortunes of CAERSWS in the Huws Gray Alliance, and a focus on a far younger club in the Welsh pyramid, FC CEFN, of the Welsh National League (Wrexham Area).
There is also a strong historical theme in this issue, with a look back fifty years to 1961-62, and the bizarre story of the very first Welsh club campaign in the European Cup Winners’ Cup, when Swansea Town faced SC Motor Jena of East Germany.
This issue also highlights the difficulty of assembling Swansea football’s past honours, with a summary of the league and cup winners where known. In addition to these special features, the magazine as always includes the regular columns on football in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier, Huws Gray Alliance, MacWhirter Welsh League and national team, plus a regional round-up, programme reviews and action photos from all over Wales.
Issue 155 is available for £3.15 including postage from Welsh Football, 57 Thornhill Road, Cardiff, CF14 6PE, or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for online payment options.
